Braces
Orthodontics for a heathy beautiful smile

Early detection is best
Although healthy teeth can be moved at almost any age, we recommend that children get an orthodontic exam by age seven.
Most children will not need treatment, but its best to detect and evaluate problems early and determine the best time to treat them.

Dr. Espinosa ensures that you are well taken care of with regards to braces. When your smile is our top priority we dedicate ourselves to providing you a variety of ways to improve and beautify.

If you have questions about our options please feel free to contact us to discuss what might work best for you and your lifestyle.

Braces for beautiful teethDo you feel uncomfortable smiling because of your bad teeth? Is tooth decay, jaw pain, or gum disease the types of conditions that you are familiar with? Is the task of cleaning your teeth and gums one you find difficult to effectively complete?

Braces might be the solution to your bite problems!

Now less expensive, less noticeable, and much more comfortable, modern braces have come a long way, and even carry a shorter treatment time.

Expect Success

For braces to accomplish their task, everyone (the patient, hygienist and dentist) must adhere to a dental treatment regimen.

Because I take my job as your dentist seriously, I will create a plan of action that is specific to your needs. Our goal will be to create your healthiest, most beautiful smile.

My highly skilled hygienist Laura will be happy to teach you how to properly take care of your teeth and new braces during treatment. It will be up to you to keep your appointments and carefully attend to your daily care and cleaning routine.

We offer braces in the following options for braces:

What to expect

The amount of time you will need to wear braces varies from person to person, although it will generally be between one and three years. After this, you will need to wear a "retainer" for a while to make sure your teeth don't move back to their previous positions.

Dr Aldo M. Espinosa your orthodontist will design a set of braces that are comfortable for you.

If you or your child wears braces

  • We advise using special toothbrushes, rinses, and anti-plaque tablets to keep the teeth and gums as clean as possible.
  • Brush many times a day (usually after eating anything at all)
  • Buy new toothbrushes regularly (braces wear the brushes down more than they normally would)
  • If it is impossible for you to brush, to rinse your mouth after eating
  • Flossing is a good way to get rid of any pieces of food that get caught between your teeth and gums. A special 'threader' is available from our hygienist that can help you with flossing.
  • It's best to remove any food particles lurking in your mouth so that tooth decay and gum infections don't develop.
